Last week, our co-founders, Mabel and Nicholas, were invited to a virtual seminar hosted by Gratia Business School with the support of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). The discussion topic was around “Diversity Community with Transformation via SDGs 4, 8, 9, 17”.

It was an honor and a privilege to share Carbon Linking's insights on diversity community with regards to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At Carbon Linking, we are committed to “makes living a green lifestyle easy, fun and more importantly meaningful”. We continue in operating our business in a sustainable manner and aligning our operation with sustainable development goals (SDGs) through various initiatives.

Here are some of the highlighted SDGs that Carbon Linking has shared with the virtual seminar's auidence last week.
SDG 4
Transform the way to deliver green education so it's more engaging for everyone, promoting sustainable learning for all (4.7)
Education is a key driver of sustainable development. Carbon Linking are actively working towards SDG 4.7 by transforming the way we deliver green education so that it is more engaging and accessible for everyone.

SDG 8
Promote innovation and entrepreneurship spirit at the heart of our business (8.3)
Offer work experience opportunities for young people (8.5)
Innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers of economic growth and development. At Carbon Linking, we believe that by fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, we can create new opportunities for growth and development that are both socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable. We are actively working towards SDG 8.3 and 8.5.

SDG 10
By using technology, we strive ensure all members of society can contribute to their fullest potential, regardless of their gender, race, or disability (10.2)
Technology can be a powerful tool for promoting social and economic inclusion. We are continuing to utilise technology to ensure that all members of society can contribute to their fullest potential, regardless of their gender, race, or disability. With tools such as Zoom, Google Workspace and Figma, we are able to break the physical border, maximising the work quality and output.

SDG 17
Promote green economy by fostering relationship with green partners and education institutions (17.14)
Collaboration and partnerships are essential for achieving the SDGs. Carbon Linking is committed to working with educational institutions, other businesses, governments, NGOs, and communities to build a more sustainable and equitable world. By working together with other like-minded organizations, we can help promote the development of a green economy that benefits everyone.

Once again, we would like to thank Gratia Business School for giving us the opportunity to share our insights and experiences with your community. We believe that by working together, we can “create a bright green future together”.
